PUBLIC LECTURE AND NORTH AVONDALE COMMUNITY WORKSHOP WITH INTERBORO PARTNERS
Interboro Partners will be in Cincinnati June 7-8 for a public lecture on their work and a community workshop that will examine Cincinnati's North Avondale Neighborhood Business District.
Interboro Partners is a New York City-based office of architects, urban designers, and planners. They describe their role as “ghostwriters” as they work to improve cities with socially sustainable ideas. They have won many awards for their innovative projects, including the MoMA PS1 Young Architects Program, the AIA New York Chapter’s New Practices Award, and the Architectural League’s Emerging Voices and Young Architects Awards. In addition to many projects in the New York area, they have worked on sites in midwestern cities including Chicago, Columbus, and Detroit and have been featured in the New York Times and other national and international publications.
The lecture and open-house presentation are free and open to the public. The community workshop invites participation of community residents as well as students in architecture, urban planning, and art, and professionals in related fields. Workshop space is limited.
